resolving singularities -- information about find a smooth proper birational surjection

A variety $X$ has a resolution of singularities if one can find a nonsingular variety $Y$ and a proper birational map from $Y$ to $X$. Every normal toric variety has a resolution of singularities given by another normal toric variety.

The following methods related to resolutions of singularities are currently available in this package.
